How do you start a new career in your late 30s? 40s? 50s or 60s?
This is the kind of stuff no one tells you. But it’s a question I asked myself at 38 once I realised that for me success was not gaining Headship in a school. In all honesty this flung the doors wide open and the questions poured in? In fact its not event that I want to throw myself into a new career I want to explore some options, pursue some different passions but I’m not sure where to start.
In fact its not event that I want to throw myself into a new career I want to explore some options, pursue some different passions but I’m not sure where to start.
So if not Headship what do I want?
Do I still want to be in education? (I did but just wanted to teach part time and explore other things)
What am I passionate about?
What else could I do?
How am I going to afford to live whilst I figure this out?
What else could I possibly be good at?
All of this and more is explored here in the hope that someone out there who is battling with the same questions will find this useful.
